We would like to thank you for your support over the past few years. As many of you are experiencing funding cuts, we too at Young Lives are going through a period of change. Our contract with the Local Authority has ended and subsequently our funding arrangements have changed. The focus of Young Lives has also changed and over the next few months we will be supporting Groups to collaborate to create better outcomes for children and young people. We will remain true to our aims which are:
-
To represent, support and strengthen the voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups working with children, young people and families in the Wakefield Metropolitan District to enable children, young people and families play their full part in society
-
to actively advocate the development of opportunities for children, young people and families and support the increase in provision of services throughout the Wakefield metropolitan district through identified need
