- *Have Your Say on 'Positive For Youth' Discussion Papers *The Government is developing a new cross-Government policy statement on services for young people, to be published in the autumn. Building on the outcomes from the Positive for Youth Summit it has worked closely with stakeholders including young people, the voluntary sector, local authorities, government departments and businesses, to co-produce a series of themed discussion papers on which they are seeking comments. Wakefield District Safeguarding Children Board Training Challenge 2010 event
On the 3rd August Young Lives will be participating in a Wakefield District Safeguarding Children Board Training Challenge 2010 event. The event encourages agencies and sectors as in our case to explore our capacity to ensure staff have appropriate training in relation to safeguarding.
Young Lives is asking for your help ion the following way:
1. Please complete the two attachments one on training needs and the other on a range of safeguarding issues.
2. Volunteer to attend the Challenge event on behalf of your group/organisation on 3rd August 2010.
3. Return completed forms and information by 7th July 2010
We would appreciate your response by the 7th July allowing us time to compile a response. If you are not able to attend the event we would still appreciate your help by completing the two forms.
